1945
Sirius International was founded by the Johnson Group.
1985
Sirius International was acquired by ASEA AB. In 1986, ASEA merges with BBC and becomes ABB.
Late 1980's
Sirius International expands through acquisitions and formation of specialized reinsurance vehicle.
Late 1990's
Sirius International expansion continues through more acquisitions.
Sirius Singapore branch is established.
2004
Sirius was acquired by White Mountains.
2011
Lloyd’s Syndicate 1945 was established.
2014
Sirius launches its own Lloyd's managing agency.
2016
Sirius Group is acquired by CM International Holding Pte. Ltd. ("CMIH”). CMIH is a Singapore based investment holding company owned by private investors.
2017
Sirius International received regulatory approval to open their Representative Office in Shanghai, China.
