Allan is currently the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sirius International Insurance Group, Ltd. which is the holding company for the Sirius Group’s principal operating companies. Allan began his insurance career in finance at Geico Corporation working closely under the leadership of Jack Byrne and later, Fireman’s Fund Corporation. Following his tenure as CFO at Fund American Enterprises Holdings, Inc., Allan founded and managed Mulherrin Capital Advisors, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in mergers and acquisition activities, capital structuring and strategic planning in the property and casualty insurance industry. In 2007, Allan joined White Mountains as the Group’s President & CEO with a mission to optimize return on capital. Under Allan’s leadership, the company successfully achieved its goals, returning $2.6 billion in capital to White Mountains during the period from 2007 through 2016, positioning it well for its sale to CMI Holding in 2016. Allan has quickly responded to CMI’s new mission of growth by leading Sirius’s expansion into the casualty, primary surety and environmental markets. By initiating strategic acquisitions, he has further strengthened the Group’s position in the accident & health market. In spite of soft-market conditions, the company has experienced double digit growth in gross premiums over the last two years.

Kip is Executive Vice President (“EVP”) and Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) of Sirius International Insurance Group (“SIIG”) , and the President of Sirius Capital Markets, Inc., the organization dedicated to management and direction of SIIG’s financial and strategic planning function. In addition to leading SIIG’s mergers and acquisition opportunities and activities, Kip is the driving force behind the development of capital and tax management strategy for the Sirius organization. Additionally, Kip and his team are responsible for the assessment and execution of high growth financial market opportunities and investment strategies that will translate into profitable growth of the business.

Kip began his career as a financial analyst at Stern Stewart & Co., and as a convertible bond trader at Credit Suisse First Boston from 1993-1995. He joined White Mountains Insurance Group, Ltd. (“WTM”) in 1995, working closely under the leadership of Jack Byrne and Allan Waters. Kip was instrumental in the diligence and acquisition of OneBeacon and all of WTM’s reinsurance acquisitions and investments. He gained invaluable experience in the M&A, investment banking, capital management, and investment aspects of the insurance and reinsurance industry.

He left WTM in 2004 to join Montpelier Re Holdings as EVP and CFO. At Montpelier, Kip oversaw the company’s investment portfolio and led projects raising over $1billion in equity and joint venture capital to take advantage of favorable market opportunities that emerged in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.

He founded Oakum Bay Capital in 2008 and served as Portfolio Manager and Chairman. He returned to WTM in 2012 and served as Managing Director of White Mountains Capital. He worked closely with Allan Waters and the Sirius Finance team upon his return, and became CFO of Sirius upon the sale to CMIG International in April 2016.

Kip received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Dartmouth College.

As Sirius Group’s Chief Actuary and Chief Risk Officer, Jeff is responsible for overseeing the Group’s loss reserving and risk management functions including managing the internal economic capital model, managing key exposures and mitigating risk for multiple lines of business and geographic regions in the (re)insurance arena.

Jeff joined the organization in 2008. He spent most of his 25 plus year career in senior actuarial positions at Munich Reinsurance Group and White Mountains Insurance Group, where he gained extensive experience in the pricing and reserving, and portfolio analysis, as well as the management of relationships with external stakeholders.

Jeff holds a B.S. in Mathematics Education from the University of Cincinnati and an M.A. in Liberal Studies from SUNY at Stony Brook. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.

Gene joined the Sirius Group in 2016 as Executive Vice President, Group General Counsel, responsible for overseeing the Group’s strategic (M&A) initiatives and managing its legal and compliance functions. Prior to joining Sirius Group, Gene served as the Global General Counsel of Cushman & Wakefield, a commercial real estate services firm, where he served on its Executive Committee, Global Management Committee and Co-Chaired its Global Enterprise Risk Management Committee. Prior to joining Cushman and Wakefield in 2011, Gene served as a senior member of the Restructuring and Legal M&A Groups of American International Group, Inc. (AIG) overseeing the legal aspects of AIG’s worldwide acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and strategic investments in a broad range of insurance and financial services sectors. Prior to joining AIG in 2006, Gene practiced in the Global Corporate Group at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley &McCloy LLP.

Gene is a graduate of Boston University School of Law, and New York University, where he received a B.S. in Finance and International Business from the Leonard N. Stern School on Business.

Warren currently serves as the President & CEO of the Sirius Group’s Bermuda based operating company, Sirius Bermuda Insurance Company Ltd. Warren is a 30+ year veteran of the Group who has spent most of his career building the Group’s treaty book of business. In 2005, he left his position as Chief Underwriting Officer in the US to buildout the Group’s Bermuda platform. Since then, Warren has overseen the production and underwriting efforts of the Group’s Bermuda operation which includes property, casualty, accident & health and marine business. Under his steady leadership, Sirius Bermuda has become the top operating company in the Sirius Group, with over $2.6 billion of consolidated capital.

Prior to joining Sirius in 1983, Warren worked at both Fireman’s Fund and Continental Re. He holds a BBA in Marketing and Insurance from Baruch College.

Monica has been the President & CEO of Sirius International Insurance Corporation, the largest reinsurance company in Scandinavia, since March 2014.   She has also served as a director of the Board since 2014.  Monica joined the company in 1985 and has held several key Underwriting positions throughout her career, including Business Unit Manager/Area Underwriter for Scandinavia, Southern Europe, Latin & Central America, and the Nordic Markets.  During the period 1989 – 2014 Monica was also Head of the Outwards Reinsurance Department, responsible for all group retrocession purchasing.

With her extensive market knowledge and insight into client needs, Monica has successfully lead the company through challenging market conditions by focusing on the maintenance of sustainable, profitable underwriting and strengthening relationships.  She has also been instrumental in identifying and supporting initiatives to develop and strengthen the Sirius brand around the globe.   

Monica holds a degree in International Business Administration from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden.  She is fluent in English, Swedish and French.

Dan is President & CEO of Sirius America Insurance Company (SAIC), Sirius Group’s U.S. based operating company. In his tenure as President & CEO of SAIC, he has successfully led the transition of Sirius America from predominately a Property and Casualty reinsurance operation to a dynamic growing insurance operating company focused upon expanding its direct writings in Accident & Health, Property and Surety. Also, Dan is the President & CEO of Sirius Insurance Agency, LLC, the Sirius Group 100% owned Managing General Agent (MGA) focused on the Specialty Environmental Insurance market. In addition, he is the President & CEO of Sirius America Re Managers, LLC, which manages a large portfolio of Accident & Health, Casualty, Property reinsurance relationships in the Americas.

Since joining Sirius Group in 1996, Dan has held several positions in the Sirius Group of companies, including: Chief Operating Officer of Sirius America; President of the Group’s service company; and Chief Claims Officer of Sirius America’s predecessor.

Dan began his insurance career in claims and consulting positions at American Re-Insurance, CIGNA P&C and Liberty Mutual. Dan holds a JD from the Camden School of Law at Rutgers University and a BA from Ursinus College.
